Balcolyn is a quiet lakeside suburb. The home is just a short walk or drive to Shingle Splitters reserve. The waterfront reserve has a playground, BBQ, and picnic facilities and is great for swimming for children or water activities. There is also a boat ramp located at the end of the street so it is the perfect spot for water lovers!
There is a shopping center located at Bonnells Bay just a short drive where there is a supermarket, pharmacy, bakery and more. Morisset town centre is a 10-minute drive away and has a number of restaurants, cafes, and shops.
It is best to get around Balcolyn by private car, however buses, uber and taxis do service this area as well.

And, there may be a noise monitor at the property - this will send automatic messages should the noise level be above 80 dB. please be mindful of the neighbours as we follow a good neighbour policy in regard to noise and behaviour. A security camera may also be located at the front of the property but this is not monitored unless a concern is raised by the neighbours or community.
