Inside, the lounge room provides a cozy ambiance, furnished with casual decor and equipped with a wall-mounted TV, DVD player, and stereo system. The first bedroom offers a comfortable queen bed, while the second bedroom accommodates a double bed and a single bed. The kitchen showcases a picturesque view of the backyard and is fully furnished with a full-size fridge, gas hotplates, electric oven, and microwave.

The bathroom comprises a shower, vanity, toilet, and a heated towel rack, ensuring your convenience. The property operates on mains electricity, supplemented by solar power, along with gas heating and tank water. Additionally, there is a barbecue in the backyard, perfect for those warm summer evenings.

Catherine Hill Bay is a small coastal village located in New South Wales. Known for its pristine beaches and historical significance, it offers a charming blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage.

The township is named after the "Catherine Hill" a two masted wooden topsail schooner built at Wisemans Ferry in 1866. Catherine Hill ran aground on the beach between Bird Island Point and Lake Macquarie, during a fierce gale. The beach and bay where the shipwreck occurred was later named Catherine Hill Bay in commemoration of the wreck. The owner of the ship was Captain Hill.

The town's iconic jetty, surrounded by picturesque cliffs, provides a stunning backdrop for visitors to enjoy the atmosphere and indulge in various outdoor activities such as swimming, surfing, and fishing. Catherine Hill Bay is known as one of 'Australia's 101 Best Beaches'.

This home is exclusively booked for your use and is professionally cleaned before your arrival. We offer contactless check-in and check-out for a safe stay.

Neighbour Policy: No parties or excessive noise allowed as per NSW Short-Term Letting Legislation and Local Council Laws. Failure to comply may result in police-assisted eviction or additional charges. Respect our neighbours' right to quiet enjoyment. A noise monitor and security camera may be present, but they will not be accessed unless alerted of any issues by neighbours or calls.

Please complete a check-in form with your home address, email, and a copy of your Driver's License for identification. The maximum number of guests is stated in your booking, and additional visitors must be approved in writing by Lakeshores staff.

The reservation price is based on a minimum of (4) guests. Additional guests are charged per person per night. Reductions in guest numbers are non-refundable. Please enter the correct number of guests (children under 2 are free) when booking.

We aim to be eco-friendly. Basic toiletries may be provided, but it is recommended to bring your own. Hand wash and basic kitchen essentials will be supplied. Linen is provided, but please bring your own towels for pools, lakes, or beaches.

Insurance: We recommend obtaining Domestic Travel Insurance to cover emergencies, event cancellations, and situations not eligible for refunds as per our Terms & Conditions.

• You may not exceed the number of people specified on your booking.

• The host will not be held responsible for issues outside of their control, ie poor weather, power blackouts, insects ie mosquitoes or sandflies, spiders etc, internet or appliance failure or activities not directly in control of Lakeshores Accommodation. We will, of course, endeavour to rectify any issue should one arise however we cannot be held liable for such events. We must be given an opportunity to resolve any issues or move you to another of our properties before requesting any refunds.

• NOTE - All of our homes are treated regularly for pest control by qualified technicians but unfortunately living on the Australian coast some of these are expected in the area.

• The hot water is not continuous and excess use may result in this running out if the amount of hotwater in the tank is exceeded and may result in a period of time without hot water.
