What TO BRING WITH YOU

If you’re new to self catering getaways you may wonder what to pack.

Here’s a guide to help you prepare

All linen is provided and the beds are made up ready for your arrival. If you plan on going swimming please bring your own beach or pool towels.

We provide a complimentary Starter Pack for your arrival – individual sachets of tea, coffee, sugar, coffee pods (if applicable) salt and pepper, toiletries, toilet paper, soap, tissues, bin liners, washing liquid and laundry powder to allow you time to purchase your own supplies.

Extras such as hairdryers, cots, and highchairs are property-specific items. If not mentioned in the property listing, please bring your own if you require them.

Basic cleaning items such as brooms, mops, and vacuums are provided. For stays longer than 9 days, we provide a complimentary linen change at no additional cost. Please contact us if you would like this service.

Essential Packing Tips

Before packing, verify what’s included in your accommodation to avoid bringing unnecessary items. Consider your length of stay, available shops and amenities, and planned activities. As each Lakeshores Accommodation is privately owned the amenities can vary depending on the property.

All properties offer bath towels and bath mats. You may wish to bring the below items to save on purchasing these on your arrival:

For the Kids

When traveling with babies or children, your packing list may be more complex. Some properties may have cots and high chairs, if so these will be in the listing. Essential items include:

• Nappies and rash cream
• Baby wipes and bottles
• Baby carrier and travel cot
• High chair and compact stroller
• Games and activity books
• Entertainment devices and apps

For Pets

Prior to brining your pet you must ensure the property is pet friendly and Lakeshores is notified of your intention by booking the pet as part of the booking process. If you bring pets, prepare for their comfort with:

• Pet bed and towels
• Leash and poo bags
