We are a family-owned business that has provided self-catering holiday accommodation around the Lake Macquarie area since 1996. Our team is experienced and passionate about what we do. We strive to help guide you to unique experiences, beaches, natural beauty, and dining experiences during your stay.

We manage a number of privately owned homes, cottages, and apartments predominately around Lake Macquarie, but also in Newcastle and Port Stephens. As property management specialists, we have a wide range of knowledge to deliver the best experiences for our guests and property owners.

We believe that both our guests and property owners deserve the ultimate experience and will go above and beyond to resolve any problems promptly. We aim to build long-term relationships with our clients and guests.

Pet Friendly Properties

No need to leave your furry friend at home, we have accommodation for both indoor and outdoor dogs.

We love dogs and we love to be able to let you bring yours with you on holidays! We recognise that many of our guests want to bring their dogs along as they are part of the family, so we provide a range of dog-friendly holiday homes.

Pet terms and conditions:

Indoor dogs must be fully house trained, non-shedding and have had flea prevention treatment in the last 7 days.

Outdoor dogs must be trained, well-behaved, and not incessant barkers. They must have had flea prevention treatment in the last 7 days.

Bedding, food, and water bowls must be supplied by the pet owner and any damage that occurred must be rectified as per our guest registration completed prior to your arrival.

SeLf Contained Accommodation

Our accommodation is fully self-contained. Linen is provided for your stay including bath towels, bath mats, tea, and hand towels. The beds are made up ready for your arrival. Please bring your own beach or pool towels.

We provide a complimentary starter pack for your arrival – individual sachets of tea, coffee, sugar, coffee pods (if applicable), toilet paper, washing liquid and laundry powder to allow you time to purchase your own supplies, or we suggest that you bring them with you. All properties have kitchen and cooking utensils and laundry facilities.

Extras such as hairdryers, cots, and highchairs are property-specific items. If not mentioned in the property listing, please bring your own if you require them.

Basic cleaning items such as brooms, mops, and vacuums are provided. For stays longer than 9 days, we provide a complimentary linen change at no additional cost.

Lakeshores recommends you bring your own beach/pool towels, personal toiletries, pet bedding and food bowls (if staying in a pet friendly home)
