The second unit is separated from the main house via a three car garage and is fully self contained. This home has two bedrooms and a main bathroom and kitchen area, as well as its own private entrance.
The private pool is for your exclusive use and the expansive grounds and waters edge will keep everyone entertained, whether it is just for a stroll around the grounds, a spot of fishing on the lakes edge, or a glass of wine or two as you watch the sun set.

Dora Creek is located in Lake Macquarie and it perfect for adventure lovers (bushwalking to the pretty Gap Creek Falls in the Watagans National Park to kayaking on beautiful Lake Macquarie.)
The calm waters around Morisset are ideal for kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. Bring your own kayak or paddleboard or hire one from Lake Mac Kayak and Bike Hire, a mobile hire service that delivers the equipment seven days a week.
Boating and fishing are popular pastimes in this area with a boat ramp nearby, north of the picnic area. With abundant fish in the lake, there are many areas to cast your line (bream, tailor, flathead are the more common fish caught in this area)
Walking trail at The Pines, State Forests of the Watagan Mountains is a popular destination for hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and 4WD touring. Or for stunning views, a drive to Monkey Face lookout is definitely worth a visit.

Trains stop regularly at the Morrisset Railway Station, however it is much easier to see all that Lake Macquarie offers by going by car. Taxis and Ubers are available but delays may occur.

All reservations are made under our strict No-Party/Excessive Noise Policy as prescribed in the NSW Short-Term Letting Legislation and Local Council Laws. As this property is in a Residential Area, failure to comply will lead to police-assisted eviction and/or extra charges being levied. Our neighbours have a right to the quiet enjoyment of their homes and NO ANTISOCIAL behaviour will be tolerated. There may be a noise monitor at the property - this will send automatic messages should the noise level be above 80 dB. Please ensure outside noise is ceased by 10pm, indoor noise by 10.30pm and pool and fire pit use by 9pm.
Please note that you will be required to complete a check-in form before check-in. This will involve providing your home address and email to Lakeshores Accommodation and a copy of your Driver’s License to establish the identity of our guest. The number of people nominated on your booking is the maximum number allowed to be at the property during your stay, including visitors. Any additional visitors must be approved by a prior written agreement with Lakeshores staff.
The reservation price is based on a minimum number of (4) guests. Any guests above this number are chargeable on a per person/per night rate. The system will automatically calculate the correct rate when you enter the required number of guests. Reductions in guest numbers are non-refundable. Please ensure you have entered the correct number of guests (children under 2 are no charge) when booking or enquiring. This property does not accept any visiting guests.
We aim to be Eco-Friendly - we may supply basic Shampoo, Conditioner or Body Wash, but it is suggested you bring your own personal bathroom products/amenities. We will supply hand wash and basic kitchen essentials.
Linen is provided and beds are made up ready for your stay. Please bring your own Pool/Lake/Beach towels.
We strongly encourage you to take out an inexpensive Third Party Domestic Travel Insurance Policy. This will cover you for emergencies or event cancellations, and anything which falls under our standard Terms & Conditions that we do not provide refunds for
