Description

Marvin's and Macey's is a quaint lake front cottage on the shores of Lake Macquarie. Named after the owners 2 dogs (Marvin, an 11 year old Spoodle, and Macey, an 11 year old Bernese Mountain dog). This home is dog friendly and highly recommended by these two characters.

The Cottage sleeps 4 comfortably in 2 bedrooms (The master with a King bed, the other with two singles.

The Space

This home has gorgeous views of Lake Macquarie and the passing boats. The waterfront reserve location is perfect for those wanting to throw in a line and try to catch a fish, or simply walk along the waters edge after a nice day of exploring all that Lake Macquarie has to offer.

The home is recently renovated providing all the necessities for a perfect holiday escape - Wifi, smart TV, airconditioning, dishwasher and a large undercover deck to enjoy a glass or two and just escape the busy-ness of life.

The Master bed hosts a King size bed, with ensuite bathroom, and the second bedroom has two single beds and another bathroom opposite with built in bath. Also there is a sliding door that can close off the main bedroom for privacy.

The kitchen and living area is perfectly positioned to take in the expansive lake views, and lead out on to the huge rear undercover deck

The guest will have full access to the house and grounds, Sorry the garage is not available for guest use.

'Wangi' is more of a quiet holiday and retirement town. Wangi Wangi is located on a narrow peninsula which juts out from the western shore of the lake.

Wangi is also popular for fishing, swimming, boating, picnics and camping.

Whilst in 'Wangi' you could visit the 'Dobell House' the home and art studio of the famous William Dobell. The Committee maintains the house as historically accurate as possible to reflect the life and artistic genius of William Dobell.

Getting Around

The property is close to bus, cab and uber services. But it is best to see all of Lake Macquarie by private car

OUR GOOD NEIGHBOUR POLICY

All reservations are made under our strict No-Party/Excessive Noise Policy as prescribed in the NSW Short-Term Letting Legislation and Local Council Laws. As this property is in a Residential Area, failure to comply will lead to police-assisted eviction and/or extra charges being levied. Our neighbours have a right to the quiet enjoyment of their homes and NO ANTISOCIAL behaviour will be tolerated. There may be a noise monitor at the property - this will send automatic messages should the noise level be above 80 dB.

Please note that you will be required to complete a check-in form before check-in. This will involve providing your home address and email to Lakeshores Accommodation and a copy of your Driver’s License to establish the identity of our guest. The number of people nominated on your booking is the maximum number allowed to be at the property during your stay, including visitors. Any additional visitors must be approved by a prior written agreement with Lakeshores staff.

The reservation price is based on a minimum number of (4) guests. Any guests above this number are chargeable on a per person/per night rate. The system will automatically calculate the correct rate when you enter the required number of guests. Reductions in guest numbers are non-refundable. Please ensure you have entered the correct number of guests (children under 2 are no charge) when booking or enquiring.

We aim to be Eco-Friendly - we may supply basic Shampoo, Conditioner or Body Wash, but it is suggested you bring your own personal bathroom products/amenities. We will supply hand wash and basic kitchen essentials.

Linen is provided and beds are made up ready for your stay. Please bring your own Pool/Lake/Beach towels.

INSURANCE
We strongly encourage you to take out an inexpensive Third Party Domestic Travel Insurance Policy. This will cover you for emergencies or event cancellations, and anything which falls under our standard Terms & Conditions that we do not provide refunds for
