Sleeping up to 9 guests, this 4-bedroom beach house is perfect for two families to enjoy a getaway, comfortably together.
Walk across the road, and you and your family will have access to this idyllic patrolled Beach. Alternatively, you can walk to Lake Macquarie for a swim, or to fish in the pristine waters.
The home has an open plan living and dining area. The fully equipped kitchen features a full-size fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, toaster and kettle, plus all the other necessaries to help make your stay comfortable and easy. The living area has a flat-screen TV, DVD player, lounge and bench seat dining table.
If you wish to dine outdoors, you can sit at the table on the large undercover deck, this area also has BBQ facilities and a hammock which is ideal for the adults to relax and enjoy the setting sun with a good book and glass of wine. There is also a heated outdoor shower and generous back yard for children and adults to relax and enjoy when you come home from the beach across the street.
Offering free Wifi throughout, both the main and second bedrooms features a queen size bed , the third bedroom has 2 single beds, and the fourth bedroom has a tribunk (Double on the bottom, single on the top), all bedrooms have ceiling fans to help keep you cool through those summer months. There are 2 bathrooms throughout the house.
This home has plenty of parking for 1 or more cars, plus a boat or jetski, either in the long driveway or on street parking. There is a boat ramp less then 5 minutes from the home where you can launch your boat straight into the channel then decide whether you want to take it out into the ocean or relax around the lake. There are plenty of islands in the lake that you can boat up to and enjoy a picnic lunch.
Along with the beach and boat ramp, the beach shack is also close to Blacksmiths break wall, a local swimming spot called Grannies pool, a kids playground or more! Swansea is only just over the bridge where you can do grocery shopping and explore the local clubs and restaurants.

Blacksmiths is a quiet beachside suburb of Lake Macquarie and is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean on one side and the mouth to the beautiful Lake Macquarie on another. Situated north of Swansea (Just near the Swansea opening bridge) it is only half an hour from Newcastle, or an hour and a half from Sydney.
Lake Maquarie is the largest Saltwater Lake in the southern hemisphere and is only 10 minutes' walk away or 1-minute drive. There is also a lagoon just off Blacksmiths beach called 'Grannies Pool', this location is great for the little children that want to splash around. It is also accessible for prams and wheelchairs
The boat ramp is nearby so if fishing is your thing then you have that option as well.
Blacksmiths is great for fishing, boating, surfing and also a great beach to 4WD on that runs from Blacksmiths all the way to Nine Mile beach Redhead.
There is also the local Orana Hotel, Swansea RSL and Swansea Pub.
Walk to public transport, schools or local shops, forget about the car.
Ubers, taxis and buses operate from Blacksmiths.

This self-contained home is booked exclusively for your use, it is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival and we have contactless check-in and check-out to help you have a Safe-Stay.
There may be a noise monitor at the property - this will send automatic messages should the noise level be above 80 dB. please be mindful of the neighbours as we follow a good neighbour policy in regard to noise and behaviour. A security camera may also be located at the front of the property but this is not monitored unless a concern is raised by the neighbours or community.
Please note that you will be required to complete a check-in form before check-in. This will involve providing your home address and email to Lakeshores Accommodation and a copy of your Drivers License to establish the identity of our guest.
